E4400 + 8800gt?

    Just want to know, if Intel's Core 2 Duo E4400 (2.0GHz, 2MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB) will allow the NVIDIA's GeForce 8800GT to use it's potencial on maximum.

    I just looked at a few reviews for this CPU, it is a little more powerful than an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ - I don't see how it could hold back an 8800GT. I personally think your CPu choice sits nicely above my minimum reccommendation for a CPU combination with that card ;)

    Yes, especially if you overclock it. the new E2200 will even be able to use it to it's potential. Anything below ~2GHz I would most definately recommend overclocking.
