Do you think an Antec Smart Power 450 is enough for this build plus a few future upgrades, like another HD, and more ram.

    CPU Athlon 3200+ $190
    MoBo MSI K8N Neo4 $85
    Mem Patriot 512 MB $68
    HD WD SATA 80GB $56
    OD NEC DVD R/RW $43
GPU Sapphire x300 SE $52 (not Hyper memory model)
PSU Antec SP 450 watt $70
Case Antec Sonata II $ 40
    Final 624.19 (S&H included)

Probably alright, but you might wanna think about spending about $10 or so more and get the Enermax EG-565P-VE. Nothing against the Antec, but for $10, that'd be a better way to go for future expansion

Are you getting the +XBL stuff as a dual-channel kit (2x256MB) or just one 512MB stick? While it's not going to kill your performance, the extra boost by having dual-channel going for you would be adviseable since the difference between the dual-channel kit and the single stick shouldn't be a very big amount (less that $10, and probably less than $5).

well the reason i was getting that PSU is that it comes with the case as a combo, so i cant get teh sonata II for $40, i just put that because teh PSU that comes with it was 70, so i have to find a new case. You dont think 450watts is enough for maybe adding another HD, 512mb more ram, and maybe some other small things (this wont be our main compture that i put any heavy uprgrades on, that one is over on the side). Also what other PSU manufactures do you reccomend other than enermex and antec.

Im gonna go look for another $40 that looks alright and i can get teh Antec Smart Power 2.0 500 for the same price. Newegg had the 450 and 500 at $70.

Okay, a hard drive upgrade, yeah, that type of upgrade would be fine. Now if you're looking to go with a higher-end GeForce or Radeon card down the road, you'd probably find it beneficial to have something stronger. The only thing you'll want to make sure of is, like I said, that there's a native 24-pin ATX connector on the power supply.

well when i upgrade my system over on the side do you think slapping my x800 xl in this new one would be to much for it to handle. Yeah the Smart Power 2.0 PSU have the 24 pin MoBo connectors.
