Error code 22

    I have a Gateway 7200X with two DVD drive; a _NEC DVD_RW ND-3500AG and HL_DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8163 B using Windows XP Home.
    The first one does not work and is marked as disabled when I check it's properties. When I click "enable device" I get the message, windows can not enable this device. Any suggestions on what to check for next? Thanks

    Try uninstalling the driver using device manager and then reboot. It should say its found new hardware and give you an install wizard.
