OK, not only did the game get me to install windows (dual boot with ubuntu) to use it... i cant stop playing! free 14 day trials rock \m/>_<\m/ I dont know what time i was up to last night, but as soon as i was up i was playing again! God dam downtime tho... 11-12 and i have to get a bus @ 12:30, guess it serves them right for running a windoze cluster (yeah i know, sounds like a bad joke). Anybody else play Eve here?
I only played it for like, 5 seconds, my brother was playing a free trial thing there ages back... it looks good... but as with most MMORPG's that monthly price tag is a massive deterant for me... it's the only reason I don't play MMO's. I played Guild Wars, but that got very stale. Eve does look interesting though, it's one of the ones I'd like to play. Russian Man, it's not necessarily a new game, it's old enough. It's an MMORPG based in space... I haven't played it enough to know what exactly it's about...
I do actually... One guy plays that and World of Warcraft... In fact, I'm almost embarassed to say, but one guy in ym class, he's like 30 odd years old, actually left his job at EMC to play World of Warcraft... That just strikes me as a little odd to say the least... Shows how addictive they can be.
