Oh my friggin god! This is hilarious. I've heard Excel Saga was pretty good, but I hadn't gotten to until today. The series came out in a whole collection. Best Buy had it for about $60, which is a great deal since buying each of the DVD's alone would've run about $120+ the evil sales tax. I'm only on episode 3, but this is so damn funny...completely inappropriate at times, but so funny.
 
You also might wanna check out Puni Puni Poemy and Azumanga Daioh! since they're done by pretty much the same folks
