    Hi!

I have an old external drive with a bunch of important files that i need, but the problem is that the port for the 5-pin Mini-B is broken. I was thinking about trying to replace the port, but they're so small and i assume they're only used by companies, so even if i was to find a place that sells them, i'd have to purchase in bulk. So, i'd like to simply extract the files myself on to my computer, but i'm not exactly sure how i'd do that, so i need a little help. Can anyone help me?

When i opened it up, i looked at it and i'm pretty sure its a SATA. I took pictures tho just to be sure.
