    Yeah. It'd probably be Iwill, Tyan or SuperMicro with the particular motherboard in there.

    yeah i found the post thread again, and you said you wanted opteron system with sli, i think that would be sweet to. Anyways do you know if this system supports SLI, just curious.

    Without knowing what motherboard, I couldn't say.

    PCI Express slots come in 1x, 4x, and 16x slots. However, they may be fed less than that (or disabled in the case of 1x slots). A lot of workstation/server motherboards with physical PCIe x16 slots may only have 8x or 4x worth of lanes going to them. In otherwords, PCIe lanes are configurable. But that makes sense, given the serial design (no sharing). Additionally, driver support from nVidia for the chipset is required.

    i thought i read somewhere that it has 2 or 3 PCI-e x16 slots.
