F.E.A.R Problem

I was borrowing Fear from my friend, and it runs fine. But then i used Alcohol 120% to burn a copy of the final play disc. When i do this, it works until i try to play it. I get an error telling me that i have an Authentication Error. Im thinking this has something to do with the last disc because when ur installing it, the last disk is used for Authentication. but i was just wondering if this has ever happended to anyone and if so...is there any way to fix it.

 

FEAR is fairly tough on copy protection, trying to beat the system is not easy. I can't blame you for wanting to save the cash and play the (awesome) game but I would really advise just buying a used copy off amazon as it's simply an illegal practice to make copies of any game data like that. I'd like to help you but we can't really condone such practices on this forum.

 

i understand but if there is anything u can tell me on why it would be telling me this error or if there are any other programs out there like Alc. 120% that would be great too if not, its ok, i'll will just buy it

 

If it's that good of a game, buy it, don't steal it. Thread closed.
