    Hello!

So, here's my problem - I had a GeForce 2 MX video card on a PC ( Pentium4, AGP 8x). Once, I noticed that the fan on the video card had stopped rotating. I took the card out and tried to rotate the fan with my fingers and I needed some effort to get it moving - it was like some parts have melted within the fan or someone had spilled jelly in there. Well, ok, I exchanged that video card for another GF 2 MX (slightly faster model w/ 64MB unlike the previous one, which had 32MB) and after a month or so of working, the fan had stopped again and had the same symptoms as the one on the first card.

Firstly, the PC was not in heavy duty at all. In fact - it was just standing there switched on (24/7) and once in a while someone just prepared a document on it or something in that direction.

I thought that voltages might have something to do with this. Maybe because the mobos AGP supports 1.5V cards and GF2MX is not a 1.5V card (is it?). Also, speedFan shows that +12V is +0.00V.

    Thanks for anything!

GeForce 2 MX's were AGP 2x/4x compatible. All AGP 8x slots are AGP 4x/8x compatible, so you do have an overlap there, along with the corresponding specification voltages.

If you can find out what motherboard you have, you can get layout for the monitoring of your motherboard readings. [google]Everest Home Edition[/google] also will show your voltages. There's also the possibility that your motherboard for some odd reason is not measuring your voltages.
