    Thanks for the update. I would have posted this last night, but I didn't even get home until almost midnight.

    This update fixes the unicode spoofing vulnerability and a few misc. bugs as well. Seems to be fully compatible with skins and plugins from 1.0.0. Get it!

    Seeing as I can't even reply to a post in the news section I guess I'll have to answer you here...

    did you un-install before you installed? you first have to remove 1.0 before you install 1.0.1...you can't just update the 1.0

    I didn't have to uninstall before updating on any of my Linux stations, or on any of the Windows 2000 workstations at my work either. Just make sure that Firefox is closed before you attempt the upgrade.

    Yep.
    Also did anyone get that download manager bug in firefox where it sort of messed up when you paused a download or something? the progress bar starts going loopy.

    I've got 1.0.1 but when i pause a download it won't resume. Oh well.

    BTW, a bit off topic but a 1.0.1 release of Thunderbird is due very soon as well.
