    Hello one and all :)
It's been a while since I've posted for help, but anyway...

Issue with Firefox: the little 'arrow' graphic that appears on the buttons to combo boxes isn't displaying anymore.

Below are some screenshots of the problem to illustrate what I mean.

From the O2 (UK Phone Service Provider) Website:

Any ideas? Reckon it's a reinstall job?

no, it's not a reinstall, just extract & replace "Marlett.ttf" from the XP CD, it's basically a font that has a few custom pics & stuff, if you look at th bottom corner of a window you'll probably notice that it may have changed

on win9x marlett lived in C:\windows\fonts, but they could have moved it on XP . . . wait . . . what OS are you on with this problem ?

Edit: marlett became corrupted regularly on win9x, that's how i know, i did used to send marlett an xmas card

Edit: i presume your on a mac, as far as i can tell macs also use marlett for some system stuff, so, try a search for it and replace it, i don't know if you need to reboot or not, but, after replacing it, reboot just for the hell of it

I've also noticed fonts change a little, and the image used in FF when an image is loading has changed, it looks like a little red dot now...

I'll check my settings for fonts and give it a reboot, see if anything happens.

    PS - Yeah I am on a Mac :)

Checked in my font settings and I'd changed the font smoothing setting (done it a while back without thinking...)

I'd have never known it was a font issue, strange.

    Thanks donkey, great help!
