Okay so like i shut firefox and when I opened it it asked for a profile. Ive never needed one before and it wouldnt let me use default so I made a new one called Nic and then now eveytime i open it ive lost my theme and bookmarks. ANy way I can get these back?
dunno bout theme, but firefox keeps a backup of bookmarks. right click bookmarks, go to manage folders, import and try and find the back up.
it should be located in a similar folder... C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\XXXXX.default the file is called bookmarks.html I think.
Alright thanks for that Sniper ive got my booksmarks back now any ideas about my theme? EDIT: Nvm Ive got a new theme as I was due for a change anyway
Thanks for bringing this up, I would still like my 'marks back. Unfortunately my html file was in a somewhat different place, more like C>program files>Mozilla Firefox>defaults>profile>bookmarks.html. That's fine but the problem is when I open that file all I get is some general Mozilla stuff, none of my personal things. Did I go to the wrong place?, this was the only place I could find the file, or does this mean that I'm going to have to cope without them? Thanks.
