I'm sure you guys know what it's like to be "the new guy". The good thing is there was 6 new guys (actually 5 guys and a girl), so I wasn't lonely:sad: Everything went well, it's tough on the feet since you never sit ( I work at Rona, it's like Home Depot). But I had to do that also in my previous job so it wasn't too bad. It's very weird because I work at night. When I arrive it's already dark (9:30 pm), I eat at 3 am, and leave at 6:30 am, well after dawn. What'S great though is that I only have a 10 min ride by bike to go to work, and in the winter, the bus stops right in front. In the winter I'd normally walk, but not when I just spent 7½ hours standing up ! What's even better is that tuesday is a Holliday (man I don't even remember how to spell that ! Now it's 7 am and I'm going to sleep !
lol, have a got sleep dude! I go back to work tomorrow, tuesday! only for 2 weeks though hopefully, cuz then I start my new job at the cinema! I dont know about you but I like doing shifts after 4PM till 12AM, I dont like any other shifts cuz it feels like I wasted the whole day...lol the longest shift I have ever done, is 12hours, lol, 11am till 11pm, but got a fea extra hours, man...its gona be difficult cuz since I left around 3 weeks ago cuz of exams, a total of 7 staff memebers left, so its looks like a new start, lol.
I hate working overtime. Here you're 1.5 times more when you work overtime, but the government takes much more away than usual, so the more you work, the less you make money. (your pay check is still bigger, but not as much as you would think !) I don't think I'll ever have to work overtime (unless they make me work on a saturday or friday) because it's in a store that closes at 9pm and opens at 8am ...which is good: I don'T want to work overtime ! The good thing about working at night is that I don'T wake up right before going to work, like I would do if I worked at normal hours, but I wake up in the afternoon, and have lots of time before going to work.
My current job don't pay enough, so I'm gonna try out this sales job part time and see how that goes. If it sucks, I'll drop it, but if I do well, I just might drop my current one.
