Haven't quite worked out my schedule, hoping to do that today. I'm taking geometry, world history, intro. computer graphics (yeah I know, breeze) Photography 1, Painting 1 or being a Teacher Assistant for my all time favorite teacher under my favorite subject-science, can't remember my other classes as I'm not too concerned. I just want to get highschool over with. Hopefully I'll be taking my permit test soon, 6 months later a car and a job. My original plans were to take classes at a local community college and skip my senior year, but my freshman year pretty much screwed that over with only 4 credits and I got 2 credits in summer school. That's 6/27 credits. Thank you Bush's 'no child left behind' act. I'm sort of looking forward to seeing all my friends, first week of school will rock.
Teachers Assistant eh? We dont get to that sort of thing in australia, here it's years 7-12 for high school (ages 12-18) and then off to university! But anyway good luck!
Good luck, I've just started my last year (11) and all the coursework and exam preparations will be piling up. Science is cool when you're doing an interesting topic. I despise biology and ecological areas. Who cares if a species dies out? As long as I can use the net meh. Yea Bush suxxors.
ahh i'm now in year 13 and after dropping chemistry (w00t!!!) i now have ICT, Physics and Maths...no more lessons on a wednesday (all day), monday afternoon or friday afternoon! hell yea!
Yup I started Year 11 today officially. it was boring, We spent three lessons in form doing jack schitt then electronice with Mr Winstanley moanign as usual annd IT (Theory (W00T!) on the data protection act and then maths. Ive changed seats in IT but its not to bad coz I still sit next to Amara, maths Im sat next to Jamie, its great, but was a very boring day.
yeah same here, after finding out i had no lessons and wasnt allowed to leave school me and some friends went into the library and drew our own cartoon strip....it was awesome...heh (characters were a snooker ball called mel, toast called toast and the big hand man)

The whole first week of school is dedicated to figuring out your classes, lockers, and changing classes so you can imagine what in depth studies we get into. Or we just sit around and talk all the time
Me and nic got gay ties because we're prefects and had to attend an training day yesterday before most of the years started to learn how to handle younger students. they also promised free pizza at the buffet but non was seen.
Yeah I started a couple days ago. So far it's been about as dull as I expected, US History, English 3A, Chemesty w/ Lab, Study hall I plan to drop for A+ Certification good, Geometry, Latin 1, and CADD. Our old computer guy ran away so the only course I could take was CADD and hopefully they'll get A+ as promised. Prefects huh, I thought that was a Harry Potter thing
harry potter lol, my high school has gone like harry potters and now they have to wear clip on ties so they cant make them really short, and there all in houses now and not forms, lol
one of my teachers at a previous school would wear hawaiian flower shits, casual shorts, and mukluks. Schools here aren't too strict about dress codes, they just have to wear what students can wear basically.
