First time build. Looking for recommendations. I know went with amd not intel. Sorry.

I am putting together a brand new computer system. Looking to do some graphics design, watch some videos and maybe play an occasional game or two. i currently have purchased an Asus M3A78-Em motherboard with 8 gigs of OCZ Fatal1ty Edition 4GB (2x2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory the athlon 64 x2 5000 processor and im putting it inside the AZZA Spartan 101 Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case has three fans and a mount for a 4th. was wondering what i should get for a psu need a 24 pin by 4 pin. thinking 600 watts. and whats the deal on the vista/xp debate. Im considering xp professional 64 bit which i found a good deal on for $60. oh yeah and i think im going with a 640 gb 32 mb cache western digital black caviar hard drive oem $75 through newegg plus the dvd drives and all that basic jazz. Will this do the trick?

xp pro is nice and hardware ur using is ok you dont need a power horse for graphics higher mid range
