Free Partition Software / Partitioning Help

When I got my laptop it came with 2 partitions, one for the OS (Named ACER - C:\) and one for files etc I assume (Named ACERDATA - D:\) both in FAT32. I changed them to NTFS as FAT32 plain sucks. (Both about 55GB in space)

I'm downloading Vista and I'll soon be installing some form of Linux on it (probably Kubuntu as I have lots of discs lying around).

If possible I'll be installing Vista and Kubuntu and so will need to partitions to accomodate the 3 OS's (XP is already installed).

So that's the situation, I need some good free partitioning software as I'll be repartitioning my D:\ drive and leaving about 10GB for each new OS install. Should I try and resize my OS partition as well so I don't just take space from the drive with my files on?

I'd like to try and keep my files and folders in tact

I'll need swap partitions too so would anyone reccommend doing them with the partition software before installing the OS?

I'll be installing Vista first so the Linux Bootloader can handle the multiple OS's.

Many thanks, I'm sounding n00bish but it's been a loooong time since I've done any partitioning or stuff like this and am a little unsure so wanted to get some help so I'm completely sure of what I should be doing.

Well I have the partitions sorted:

I now have.
C:\ (ACER) - 53.6GB
D:\ (ACERDATA) - 34.6GB
L:\ (LINUX) - 7.81GB
V:\ (VISTA) - 7.81GB

(Plus I set up a Linux Swap Partition of like 512MB)

I have some free allocated space which I may use to increase the size of the Linux Swap partition.

I'll be burning Vista RC1 to DVD later and then I'll install and see what all the fuss is about.
