So i just built this computer, got everything together fine got her running perfect on windows 7 and everything.
After 2 weeks of perfect computing i go to turn on my computer and there's no signal to the monitor;
Have 3 monitors, 1-DVI, 1 Thru DVI adapter and one thru HDMI. I tried all of them and i get no signal

Here's my build;
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
Rosewill Stallion Series RD500-2DB 500W ATX12V Power Supply
HIS Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) 1GB 128-bit
ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 AM3 AMD 870 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mobo

Tried:
Unplugging/holding down power for 30 seconds to reset
Removing CMOS battery to clear CMOS

The computer turns on, all components have power, fan spins on GPU but NO INPUT signal to monitors

I dont have or know anybody with a graphics card to test out

Only option im left with is either calling HIS or Newegg and trying to get my GPU swapped out

HELLLLLPPPPPP
Thanks,
Taylor

Hi,
Have you tried doing a minimal boot yet? Try booting with just the cpu(and its fan), video card, and 1 stick of ram installed and disconnect everything else. See if the computer will post at that point. If it will not come up, the problem has to be either the RAM, video card, power supply, motherboard, or cpu. You will need to try to rule each piece out as the problem one at a time. I would first move the stick of ram to a different ram slot. If that doesnt work, try a different stick of RAM. Try that stick in different RAM slots. If it still will not post or come up with any video, the next thing to try to swap out would be the video card. Also try different video cable and monitor if possible. Do you have another PC that you can try your current video card in to see if it will work in another computer? If so try that to rule it out as the problem. If you rule out RAM and video card, the next thing I would look at replacing (or testing if you have a multimeter) is the power supply. IF that doesnt help, I would swap out the motherboard, and lastly the cpu if it still isnt working. Another thing you can try too is to do the minimal boot outside of the computer case. If part of the system board is touching the metal on the computer case it could be causing a short. Set the system board on a non conductive surface like cardboard or wood and try booting it up from there. If it works, check to make sure all of the spacers/risers are installed between the case and the system board.
