Ftp

Hi, i am trying to get FTP working to my XBOX, but the problem is, in FileZilla, it says Connected to 192.168.0.3, waiting for welcome message, and then it just times out, with FlashFXP, it also says connected, then timesout too, i know my XBOX can access the internet so why cant my PC access my XBOX?

I have a Netgear DG834G V3 router.

 

try the command line ftp client!

 

If you have a Linux, UNIX or Mac system around, try scanning your XBox with nmap and the -sV argument. What do you get back?

 

If you dont have a Linux, UNIX or Mac box available you can install/use nmap from a liveCD or install it in windows (there is an automated installer on Download the Free Nmap Security Scanner for Linux/MAC/UNIX or Windows for windows near the bottom of the page...)
