Can someone explain to me, why only laptops with 17 inch screens are allowed to have 1920x1200 resolution? I need a 20 inch one and I think I won't be able to find such with 1920x1200 resolution.

P.S. By the way, what laptop manufacturer to consider?

Ive never come across a 17" laptop with a 1920x1200 resolution. Thats one hell of a resolution for a small screen, its also a strange ratio. But if they are about then surely pretty well every 20" laptop screen will support 1920x1200.

I havent played with too many laptops but ive always been impressed by Dell and Packard Bell.
