undefinedundefined I have 2 questions.... (Sorry 4 my english) 1. I have a GA-7NNXP mobo. and the problems is that i cannot boot from the HD. So i found a answer 2 boot from the cd-rom so i tried with a bootable disc and so i have installed WinXP. But the main question is that i must use the cd-rom to boot into the HD and thats very annoying :S do you guys know the answer 2 boot with the HD and not the CD-rom ??? 2. I have a Corsair 512MB CL2 PC4400PT or shall i buy a dual channel memory (2x Corsair Twinx 256MB CL2 PC4000) or leave this memory in my mobo ??? what will be faster ?? the normal memory or the dual channel ??? PLZ help me....
Dual-channel memory is just a pair of sticks that has been packaged together. The dual-channel function is part of the motherboard chipset. Instead of buying a whole new package of DDR, just get another 512MB of the PC4400PT stuff. However, with the Athlons, going dual-channel only yeilds a 3-5% increase---one that you're not going to really be able to tell except through benchmarks. Go into BIOS and set the boot order to boot off the hard drive first.
ThnX Big-B i already have solved the problem it's the problem with the drivers of the mobo, but thnX anyway
