games keep crashing

    i have a rodeon 9800 pro 128mb
    my games keep crashing they seem to load up fine but when you start the game my whole pc freezes and has to be restarted

    this has only just come on as i have been using this card and the same games for a while

    i have also tried new drivers but still no luck

    any help :good:

    Sounds like your RAM might be bad. Run [google]memtest86[/google] and check it out. Also, check your CPU temps. If they're idling anywhere close to 60*C, that might very well be a cooling issue. Bad fan or just a need for more thermal compound, I can't say, but that would be something else to check.

    As for the video card drivers, if you haven't check out the Omega Drivers.
