List all games, on any platform, that must be played before we move on to that big LAN party in the sky!

Please be descriptive and include screenshots if possible.

To start things out, here's a few of my all-time favorites:

    Chrono Trigger (SNES)
Chrono Trigger is an amazing offering from the famous Square RPG company. This game is unique in that you can replay the game over and over again with your already brawny characters from the last time you played through. You can accomplish different endings to the game depending on when during gameplay you challenge and defeat the end boss. There are around 10 unique endings to this classic game.

Final Fantasy 6, aka 3 in US (SNES)
Final Fantasy 6 (also called FF3 in the US) is an epic RPG of its age. The characters are memorable, the story engrossing, and the gameplay is always interesting. This is one of those games that will stick with you long after you've finished it.

    Quest for Glory 4 (DOS)
From Sierra, the company which more or less pioneered the computer gaming industry, comes Quest for Glory 4. Unlike Sierra's other glassic and memorable adventure games, the QFG series differs in that it neatly integrates the adventure and satirical elements which has made Sierra so endearing, as well as strong role-playing elements. The atmosphere and pathos of this particular game makes it stand out among the other excellent QFG games, and it's definately a must-play. Try and get the CD-ROM version if possible, as it is skillfully narrated by John Rhys-Davies.

Being a graphics junkie i would say F.E.A.R is definitely one you should play before you die, that is if your pc can handle it. I Also think that Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 are a must.

Dammit, I still need to get a QFG4 off ebay!! I've started playing it one time after downloading it off Kazaa lite, and it was awesome, but a fair way into the game there's a thing which requires u to input some word out of the manual...

Speaking of Quest for Glory series, though, I can't see why u didn't mention QFG1 up there lol. That is suuchh a masterpiece! It's got a great story, awesome humor, a great setting, and ... some kind of special feel to it which is hard to describe. But u gotta get the VGA remake, not the original one in 16 colors or w/e it was. The VGA graphics are pretty. And yes, it makes a difference imo. I love the VGA graphics -- they look like paintings.
