Yeh...we basically attended abut 10 lessons over 6 months and got a full GCSE It was maths but easier
wow thats really nice guys, well u get to laugh at me this year when i do my SATs hahaha, well it shouldnt be that bad, last year i scored nicely on the practice ones haha then again i am a musician lmao
I did stats in my A levels and thought it was solid! Far harder then pure. I forgotten all fo it too. I can just about scrape by with standard deviation when I need to. Whats in the stats GCSE?
Stadard deviation, spearmans co efficient, variation graphs or something like that, loads of other graphs like pie charts and crap uhhh Ven circles, Probability & jjust other bits of maths crap.
That's like my Stats module for Maths at A-Level - of all of them it was the easiest and was about GCSE level (thank god, if it hadn't of been I would have failed Maths A-Level miserably).
I did exactly that with stats 1, 2 and 3. It ruined my a level so failed the lot overall. But I managed to work my way through a year of methods and models at university level. Its mad how some things you just cant do! I used to love maths but im kinda getting sick of it! Theres always something to learn, you can never box it off if you know what I mean. Since my a level (7-8 years ago I think) ive used SD twice in astronomy so its not exactly everyday stuff! I wish I did woodwork or welding instead!
Hehe, there's the possibility I'll need some algebra for my Degree but I'm not 100% sure of that so I'll see what happens when I get there!
What are GCSE's? Which age do you take these? Very good results both of you, even though I don't know what they are
GCSE = General Certificate of Secondary Education. They're taken when 16. The highest results you can get in a GCSE is an A*. The order goes down the alphabet until you reach G. Anything lower that that is a U (Ungraded or Unclassified)
Yeah I didn't even atke Alevel maths....they recommended it to me but I hated maths so why would I take more? No siirrreee Im probably foolish turning down a recommendation but if I took it I know I'll fail
