Geforce4 420mx 64mb Tv-out- switch from Tv to monitor help

Hello... I have this really annoying problem when I switch back from TV to monitor after watching a movie. I have to reinstall the graphics drivers because when I plug everything back in, the monitor after first boot, black out's... And when I try to turn it back on it says "no signal input or cable disconnected"... now what the #¤%& am I to do?.. what's wrong?. I'm sure the card was built to sense the monitor cable being connected, I mean it does so when I hook it up to the TV. Any help will be deeply appreciated...

I think the problem might be that you have the wrong resolution, you should have the option so that you can view the monitor and tv at the same time.

it should be in the display options, it allows you to extend the desktop to the tv where you can view the video files you want.

I didn't even know about the dual display options, but when I looked, there was (ofcourse) an option for putting it to both tv and analog display using 'em both at the same time... I think this will do the trick I get back when I've tried it... Dude a million thanx...
