Genre of Music

I have been listning to loads of stuff, and also been listning to abit of BBC radio 1.

On my computer i have about 2000 Music Tracks, consisting of Marilyn Manson, KoRn, SlipKnot, System of Down, The White Stripes etc.., i have been listning to some of those and then music out of albums like MTV Hits 2006, now thats what i call music 64, i also been listning to 80's music and r&b, so i been listening to alot of music, its wierd really becouse everyone i know listens to usually one specific type of music, one person from my college was called an "emo", he listens to what people refer to it as "Screaming Music" such as Penknifelovelife, bring me the horizon, bullet for my valentine etc.., its the worst music you could listen to, you'd be better off listening to a jumbo jet taking off.

But right now i am listning to Indie UK on AOL Radio, The strokes -JuiceBox
So indie music :p

Very sweet dude, you've got great taste. I've got a friend who recently got into that 'screaming' genre. Perhaps not to the same extent but I have no desire to listen to his "Cannibal corpse" and "Mastadon" craziness.

:D and it sure is, the only work I could make out was "kill" which happened to be the title of the album...which was used many times naturally in the 'song'. Rubbish.

I listen to Trance/Techno DJ's really, mix in some Rap & R'n'B and thats me! I also listen to the old odd track (or search for years to find one I like).. e.g. All the Citroen C4 adverts have a great tune to go with it - you just have to boogie to em. I am so not into all that goth/emo music (that's what it's known as where Im from), I also like MCs.

Currently I only have 797 (audio) item's in my Winamp library - trying to catch up with AT. :p

Techno is pretty much the same thing as trance, and both could just as easily be called electronica which is pretty much the broadest category for the genre.

It's possible people might refer to that sort of music as 'chav' as chav's are generally concidered to be people that are into bling, hang around fast food places, and listen to electronica, RnB, etc.

He probably is, but I don't care aslong as he produces good music.. most of his tunes are out of date now :( .. the season for trance/techno was 2003/04.

DJ Pulse is from Wigan, which is sort of near me.
