I read this awhile ago, made me smile I wonder if this will work in the UK? (I would guess the License Agreement has the same wording, so i would think so... ).
This has been achieved in the US and UK but so far only Dell has given refunds. I wonder how successful you'd be with another PC manufacturer? At the end of the day though, if I refuse to accept Microsoft's license agreement I want my money back! Why should I pay for something I have absolutely no intention of using?
True!! Have you seen the film Revolution OS? People gathered somewhere (Linux users) and asked for their money back for Windows, the vendors told them to get it from Microsoft, Microsoft told them to get it from the vendors etc etc... That was a while ago though.
