Hello, I formatted my C:\ by mistake & I have lost my important data. Then I have downloaded GetDataBack software & tried to recover my data. I am able to see all my previous folder back but files having .php extension were unrecoverable. When I tried to open them it shows junk data instead of proper data. But it shows proper data inside .html extension files. And also I was having one .rar having .php files inside. When I extract them then it also displayed proper data. So, is there any way so that I can get proper data? Please help me. Thanks in advance....
Hi unfortunately once data is overwritten there's not much you can do! I'm guessing you re-installed on the same drive? The re-install has overwritten key parts of the files, which is why you will get corrupt files e.g. php
