*gifs refuse to play??

    I have tried reinstalling firefox twice now, I've cleared my cache, cookies and history, ran spyware, antiware and virus software, yet still I am unable to view any gifs online.


    Any suggestions appreciated.

    they display but not play.

    Like I know nic's avatar is suposed to spin, its just a stationery image.

    strange, do they work in IE6? try creating a new profile and see if that helps, when did you notice this, after installing software?

    been about six weeks now.

    I can't think of anything new installed that could have effected it, perhaps some form of spyware, maybe.
