Does anyone know how to remove the plastic pins from the mobo h/sink retention module and backplate?? They don't seem to have screw tops. Being a newbie i don't want to force anything too much unless i know exactly what i am doing. Thanks. RP
They might be push pins, which can be taken out with some needlenose pliers by pushing the tip together and forcing it back through the hole. That's just a guess as I don't have that motherboard, but it's a common form of retaining something. However, I could be wrong on that one.
