I'm looking for a program that can play audio and video (an alternative for windows media player) for Windows, except Winamp, iTunes and VLC. Does anyone know such a program?

I forgot to mention quicktime in my post haha. But the reason why I don't like VLC, is because it hasn't got any good looking theme. Just a grey screen wit a progress bar.

You can try Media Player classic.

Coupled with the K-Lite mega pack it is the best player I have ever used under windows. It is boring to look at but is far, far better than WMP.

Check it out and see if it is skinable.... I am really not sure.
IMHO, it is about functionality, not looks. Especially when you normally go to full screen when watching films.

Yeah this one is great! It's not skinnable though, but it is far better than WMP.

IMHO, it's best to use the best tool for the job in all cases. With multimedia software, it's very wise to split up audio and video apps and just let them do what they're best at. WMP and RealPlayer are both good examples of why integrated A/V software is a bad idea. They're slow, bloated, unstable and not incredibly good at either audio or video in my opinion. If I was you, I'd concentrate on finding the best video player for your needs, then the best audio player for what you want to do. What's the big advantage of having one program that does both? It just seems pointless to me.
