I just noticed this, but now you can download their videos (like before) but now they don't download with proprietary video player. They now download in a regular media file, and play on whatever.
Google has dumped DRM, there was a bit of fuss recently because anyone who had bought video's was no longer able to watch them and they wearn't happy with just being refunded what they had paid for them. it was perhaps a bit shady on Google's part but hopefully alot of people learned that DRM means you have no control, and the controller can do whatever they want...
yeah, i had actually completely forgot about all that, i didn't know it had to do with rights management, but i do remember being able to buy some of the videos. Anyways, i'm a huge fan, i like that you can download the videos and play them on whatever now, its sweet.
