Graphics Card Driver Problems

Ok, where do i start, i thought it would be a smart idea to update my graphics card drivers, turns out it was very stupid as my computer started to crash and games such as Unreal Tournament would not recognise my graphics card and wouldnt start up. I then uninstalled the new drivers and cleared my computer of anything to do with ATI using Driver Cleaner Pro and installed the old Drivers. These then continued not to work, ive tried using DNA Drivers and Omega none of them would work. I then tried the old drivers once again, these continued to work for around 3 days then i started to get get messages such as this http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/355/untitled5ff.jpg

Since i got that message i turned off VPU recover this did not work as it was suggested on other forums. But now my computer has started to crash while playing Counter Strike-Source, this is found to be very annoying, as my monitor turns off and says No Input and then says Power Saving, my computer is still on just there is not display eventually my computer turns off after a minute. My Specs are:
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb
Pentium 4 Processor 2.4Ghz
2x256mb RAM
30GB Space

I have checked all wires and connections and everything is fine. I have no idea why computer has continued to crashed regularly in-game, it works fine while on desktop however when i go to play certain games it crashes goes to a black screen and then needs a reboot. And this graphics card has run every game i have ever played superbly up until this week for the past 6 months. I have tried system restores to rule out it being a virus so it couldnt be software, it has to be hardware and something to do with the graphics card.

Any replies or solutions would be much appreciated

do you have any back up points? I'd suggest you do that

If you're sure you have the drivers uninstalled simply install the new ones again.
Make sure that you specified the exact model, and operating system too, a slip like that can screw up a graphics board

I tried uninstalling the drivers through add/remove programs in the control panel however the crashes still continued. Also i tried uninstalling them through the Device Manager, the crashes still continued. What do you mean by back up points?

My drivers i have installed at the moment are the drivers given with the graphics card i got 6 months ago. However my computer still continues to crash during playing games which require it to work to its potential. Thanks for the suggestion, more would be appreciated

Ive been told that this sounds like a power failure problem, any ideas on how i could check my Graphics Card is getting the right amount of power or increasing the amount of power given to my graphics card?

you should be able to see voltages/temp/core settings in the BIOS

I meant back up points as in if you have any restore points on any hard drives, because I'd recommend to restore if you can
