    Hello,

As a bit of a novice I've been having some trouble upgrading my graphics card that hopefully you kind people may be able to clear up for me :chk:. My systems quite old, and I'm just looking for something that will let me run games on medium settings in a smooth way.

Basically, I recently purchased a new 620W PSU and Radeon 5750 1 gig card to go with it. After I'd successfully installed the PSU I was unable to get a display signal from the graphics card. After fiddling with it for a few hours, and abit of internet research on the subject, I found out that I needed to update my BIOS to get the thing to work. Unfortunately, HP no longer support my motherboard (Do they think this will make me buy a new one from them?).

So basically I now have a PSU thats way too good for the old Radeon X1650 SE that I've had to put back in the case. The whole reason I wanted to update in the first place was because this was starting to chug (highly technical term) on newer games like Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age.

Can anyone reccommend a decent card that's likely to work with my current system. I have no problem doing a bit of research for myself, but I would like a helping hand on the kind of area I should be looking in. System stats are below.

    2.3ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4 gig DDR2 RAM
    620W PSU
    ASUSTek Computer INC. LEONITE 5.00 Mobo (aka P5LP-LE) w/ 1 x PCIe 1.0 slot.

Any help would be much appreciated
