I just started playing this a few days ago and am really enjoying it but when I first looked at CJ's face I thought man better tweak the old gfx options. It was already on high to my dismay so I turned it up to very high and it looked exactly the same. So I made sure it was still on very high, quit and restarted the game. Looked the same. So out of curiosity I turned it on low and did the same thing, no change. What's with that? It's not an ugly game but I should at least see some variation in the graphical quality. I maxxed the draw distance, resolution (that my monitor would allow at least), and turned up AA. Runs like a dream but why aren't I seeing any difference between low and very high! Thanks.
Really, interesting. Boy you'd think they would have thought of something more dynamic than that. Well thank you
Heh, no as usual my friend loaned it to me. I give him music, he gives me games So in your case does very high look better than high?
the only things i can notice are. extra details in roads. walls/buildings. people. cars. trees. water. sky. thats it really, but low/medium look the same and high/very high look the same, my computer runs better on very high than high.
Well those are pretty fairly destinct differences. I've only noticed road and shadow detail. Nothing else. I haven't checked the fps but it's runs perfect with everything maxed. I hope the really beef up the graphics in the next GTA, though it would be a peformance hog that way obviously.
i can run it ok withought AA on, if i put AA on them its oging at like 13fps, but i dont notice much difference with AA on.
