i have some problems with gta san andreas for the pc, for instance, when i am driving arround i notice that no matter what setting i have the draw distance on, the mist stuff is always flashing, and its so anoying, does anyone know how to stop it, its like when ya going arround you can see scenery and buildings dissapearing for like 1 second, then coming back, and its practicly like its flashing.

That sort of poping artifacting is almost always solved by a patch or updated driver. Sometimes games are just undercooked and you get this sort of stuff regardless of what you do, but I don't think this is the case. Look for an update.

Look around for the 10x draw distance patch. It makes the game much more enjoyable. I have the game for ps2, and it gets to the point where sometimes the road i'm driving on hasn't loaded yet...

yea, i still get the flashing problem even with 10 times draw distance, and it slows game down becouse my graphics card cant really handle it with 10x draw distance on.

I'd update your graphics card drivers or lower some of the settings in GTA, usually does the trick.

Yeah sometimes if you push up to settings too high on a card that can't quite handle it you can get some artifacting. The game recommends a GeForce 6 series card.
