I have just got a new computer and I want to take all of the old data off my old PC. Would it be possible to just take the hard drive from the old PC and put it into the new PC as a slave and transfer the data that way or would the hard drive have to be reformatted once it is placed in a new machine resulting in the loss of my data? Thanks.
