What am I doing wrong? I have been working on computers for a couple years and have never had a problem with trying to mount an internal hard drive via sata/ata to usb cable to my computer. I can hear the drive is spinning but it will not show up in My Computer, and it will not show up in the Disk Management either. Its very frustrating. Please help!

    Welcome to HWF :)

Are you able to try a different hard disk? There could be an issue with the data cable, so you first need to rule that out by testing a different hard drive using the same cable.

Best think would be to check it in BIOS. Make sure that master/slave is set probably to. Your motherboard may not support one of the HDD that you are installing.
