    Hey,

I've seen that there are external hard drives with 6TB storage capacity. Is this right? Is the capacity composed of several hard drives or is it only one?

How much of your hard drive storage do you use? I currently bought a new computer with a 1TB hard drive but only use 300MB. You?

I personally have never seen a 6TB external or internal HDD. If you wanted to achieve something like this you would have to do a raid. I personally have 1.34TB worth of HDD space. I have used about 600GB, but I have downloaded 100+ movies, tv shows, games and what not.

The external solutions with 6TB are multiple drives in a single enclosure. either 2x 3TB or 3x 2TB.

I try to not fill my mechanical hard drives above 50% max capacity. thats the point the performance starts to degrade from my experience.
