Hardware Advice

Hi everyone! I'm new here and I was looking to get some advice on my system in general. I've currently got enough money to either go for a new graphics card (GTX 260) or a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer - 7.1 Channel, Western Digital VelociRaptor 300 GB.

What would be the better buy for now?

Sure thing :)

My system specifications are as followed:

CPU: E8400
GPU: 9800 GTX
HD: 500GB
MOBO: EP45-UD3L (Onboard sound)
Memory: 4GB, DDR2, 800
Power Supply: 850W

I also forgot to mention I was going to buy 2 VelociRaptors I forgot to add that in the first messege.

Obviously it is hard for me to comment on the amount of space you need but personally if I had your current set-up, I would invest in a decent sound card rather than use the on-board offering. However, you need to weigh the importance of sound Vs vision... if HD and graphics quality is more important to you than sound then go for G card, it looks scary.... :D
