F@H is mainly CPU orientated, If running Dual Channel DDR does it really improve performance that much? I realise that the general implications of running Dual Channel offers 100% more memory bandwidth, i presume that it does? I just figured it did not use memory, merely cpu..

And which is better - Work with Deadlines or no-preference, as mines set to no-preference...

I think work with deadlines are better because you can get bigger WUs with more points.

As for the dual channel memory it does theoretically double the rate which memory functions but it onyl offers 10% increase in real life.

I haven't run it on my P4, but I did notice a jump in performance when I went to my Thorton core AXP 2400+ over the Palimino 2000+ I had. I've heard, but haven't seen it myself, that AMD is better for F@H.

As you may well remember, PX, I have 2gigs of RAM :D, and that did have some effect in doing a frame in 5seconds....eheheh.

Although now I'm not so sure. Been stuck on a 2500frame WU for two weeks. Last night it said one hour needed. Now it needs two...
