i have just took the graphics car dout off the old computer as i have decided to sell it to make the money for my new graphics card for my main computer, and i have now done a repair instalation on windows on my old computer, and the intergrated display drivers are still not installed, do you have any idea on how to get the m to install, all the windows move slow at the moment as the intergrated graphics are not installed i think, the windows are moving slow as they do when drivers are not installed, in the display information part in display properties, everyhting says not available too.

someone please help me, its the computer my mmum and dad use, i dont want them to bite my head off for messing it up.

You say it won't display your adaptor or it's driver version? If you can find out the integrated adaptor you can visit it's web site and d/l the drivers as you know.

Will, when you took out the graphics card that plugs in, did you re-enable the integrated graphics card in your bios? Im pretty darn sure that it's not going to work unless you do so... lemme know.

Shouldn't there be some sort of drivers on intel's site?

Thats what i was gonna say Ex, have you tried uninstalling the 'unkown' graphics card and restarting, this may re-detect the card and allow you to install the drivers!
