How do i enable HDR, i have tried adding a command thing in the shortcut ( -DEVMODE "r_hdrrendering 11") and tryed it with disabling AA and AF but still no luck, some sites say you need a GeForce 6 card when someone with an X1800 series card managed to get it to work, so i am wondering if i can get it to work with an X800XT PE. Any ideas guys?
but if my card doesent support it, wont farcry tell me, or wont the game crash, my card supports hdr in HL2 LOST COAST, and what looks like HDR in need for speed most wanted.
Passing the HDR parameter with command line doesn't necessarily mean that it will give you a message telling you your card doesn't support it. Only 6 series, 7 series and X1800 ranges support HDR.
ah, i think it was on the rage 3d forum, that somthing about, the 7 series of nvidia cards are not compatible with it, and said you need a 6 series card.
I would take that with a grain of salt, unless they could back it up. Rage3D is an ATi fansite, so I'd be a little leery of taking someone's word as gold from their site. Off-hand, I don't know if they're right or not, but you might want to search around and see if you can dig something up to confirm it one way or another.
