Ello, we're replacing some of our old gas fires in our house because we're thinking about using them for winter to save money using electric oil heaters. So, which is cheaper to heat rooms, electric or gas? Thank you.
When you say electric oil heaters do you mean those radiators that plug into the wall? If so id would have thought it would have be gas central heating. Those plug in the wall radiators are something like 1.5kw and the ones ive known people to have weren't that effective either. Those halogen heaters work well but are too bright.
Buy a smaller house! If the rooms are small enough your own body heat will heat the room and you'll be quids in
yes indeed we're looking for king of 'central' heating, not radiance, and wondering which, echnonomically, is cheaper what can i say apart from: and a bit of:
Gas heater is always more cheaper as compared to the electric heaters.... But the problem is you cant move those gas ones as they are jst hooked in the wall... But in regards to the Electronic heaters u cn just put em besides where ever u sit.... As comparison... I would say, Electric heaters are more effective as compared to the Gas ones....
