Heavy Keys

    Hi all, first post,

Ever since 1993 I've used the same keyboard on my computers -- an old IBM keyboard with spring loaded heavy keys. Last monday a bottle of Coke fell on it and killed it permanently. In the meantime I've picked up a Logitech keyboard from walmart but to be honest it's a POS.
I do a lot of programming and I preffer heavy keys instead of the keys that have the little plastic membrane much like OEM keyboards. Does anybody know a model/make that is heavy to the touch much like older keyboards?

    Any help is truly appreciated.

Whats the model of the keyboard you spilt coke on?
Ebay might be worth a look.

just use your old keyboard, with coke it is the sugar / stickiness than prevents it from functioning, unplug old keyboard and wash it in the kitchen sink (wash under tap) then leave it to dry for about 4 weeks, then plug it in and try it, if you think it's dead anyway, you've nothing to lose (except an already dead keyboard
