undefinedI have in my hard drive 2 primary partitions with both XP...

And I also have Linux installed in the same hard drive. When I did the
installation of linux, every time I boot up my computer a windows would come
up and give me the choice to boot up from either one of the operating systems ( both XP & Linux)

then

I formated one of my XP primary partitions and I Installed a fresh one

Well, Now it booting straigh into the new XP system, and it is not even asking me whether to choice another partition

I tried couple of programs I downloaded from http//www.download.com

I need help...

Thanks you guys...[/FONT]

What you need is a proper geek's toolkit. ;) Try that out, it should be able to help you. Also, in the future, keep in mind that the last operating system you install is the one that handles the bootloader. Windows' bootloader is poorly executed and very limited in functionality. You can avoid losing your MBL sector, and thus not being able to boot to 'NIX / BSD / BEOS, by making a boot disk for the non-Windows OSes. That way if Win overwrites the MBR, you can still boot to your other OS and fix the MBR. The boot disk also comes in mighty handy if you try to compile a new kernel and end up hosing it (like I've done many times.) ;)

Thanks guys..,

I actually was talking with one of my friends
and he suggested to install linux again over
the XP partiotions; therefore, it' ll overwrite the boot loader.

To me this looks like a time consuming solution and since I don't have
much experience, so I don't what else could be out theres so I don't have to
install linux again.

I was just thinking maybe a software that will edit the boot loader somehow
I really don't know.
If any suggestions please write me ...Thanks...

Pentium 4 1.7MHz

That link I gave you in a previous post is to software that will modify the boot loader; that's why I suggested it. :)
