Just some clarification: The motherboard model uses an Intel chipset, but the naming convention is typical of Gigabyte products (the GA- part tipped me off).

One thing you might consider is getting a P965 chipset-based motherboard instead of the older 945P-based one you have listed. The P965 is a little faster and was designed with Core 2 Duo chips in mind.

As far as questions go, what power supply are you pairing with this build?

That's probably not going to cut it, unfortunately. It's +12V rail probably isn't up to handling the power load that's been shifted over there. This line powers the CPU and all PCIe cards (including video cards) and any additional power connections required by the video cards. It also power SATA hard drives. You might have 10A, and you really need to look at something with about 25A. If the system powered on with that unit, I'd be shocked.

A few sub £60 units that will do the job just fine:

    Hiper Type-M 530 £45
    OCZ ModStream 520 £57
    Fortron BlueStorm 500W £51
