Hey, I Chose the following processor :- Quad-Core AMD Opteron 1389 Speed : 2900 MHz HyperTransport Link: 2200 MHz Socket : AM3 L2 Cache : 4 × 0.5 MB L3 Cache : 6 MB Released in 2nd quarter of 2009 (Codenamed SUZUKA) For running good quality game servers. PRICE (AMD Website) : 269$ Can Some one also tell me the Intel Equivalent to this processor ? We will be using Debian Stable x64 or CentOS x64. But i am a little confused in the sense that what motherboard should i go for ?
