i installed a BEFW11S4 Linksys Router, and a WMP54G Wireless Pci adapter in my other pc (router is with server) now my settings match up, my ms-dos prompts work and i get my 4 packets replied (100%) yet it always says that the access point is connected yet the internet cannot be found. my gateway is matched up and the router is all done, my client lease time i have raised to 1000 minutes (so it doesn't expire) and something here is going wrong, im runnin it on open system, WEP disabled, (encryptioN) and everything is clearly lined up for it to work, if i can get an answer it would be greatly appreciated. :x:

Can you ping through the router (e.g. www.google.com)? Is it using MAC-based authentication?

On your Task Bar by clock you will see an Icon from the softwafe for your pci wireless card. Just right click on this and then click on connect.

This is what I done today and it worked. When you reboot your pc you can connedct ti Net with no problems. PS If this is incorrect please let me know and I will send you a reply.

    Thanks
