Hi, I have joined this forum as a relatively new computer user. I need help to learn and will use this site for this however my urgent help is as follows. I recently went on to a financial website and went into some secure screens to relay my information - the website owners (big company) have now denied that I ever enterd those screens and that the approval I was given was not correct. I have been in my history and all I see are the non secure pages. Is there anyway I can retrieve the information especially one page so I can print and send to the company as proof that I was in the page and was given approval.I know this a long shot but I have been very badly 'ripped off' and need to find a way to prove this. Thanks for reading and fingers crossed you can help. Wallii
Have you tried the following: Start->Settings->Control Panel->Internet Options. In the General tab in the Temporary Internet Files, click on Settings and go to 'View Files'. See if anything is there like a cookie or a certificate file.... If you genuinly beleive you have been ripped off, perhaps let the forum know which company you are talking about so we can all be aware of their online conducts? Good luck....
