Hi all, I wasnt sure of the best title for my problem, but here goes.

Basically, I have a new HP DV9565 Laptop, and am trying to run various audio production packages. Normally, for computers with domestic soundcards (IE, not £300+ mixing consoles / interfaces) you have high latency problems, which are easilly solved with a free piece of software called ASIO4All, but the problem I have, is with the soundcard in my laptop. (Conexant HD Audio SmartAMC HD2) I am running the latest driver, I checked DXDIAG and it claims my soundcard is indeed WDM compatible, but is not picked up by ASIO4all, thus leaving me with unsolvable latency issues.

My new point: Why isnt it picked up?

Any help / suggestios would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Edit: Thanks for looking, problem was with vista's security. newest beta release of asio4all solves it.
